Relocation: the criteria to benefit from dedicated support to set up in Atlantic France

#Allmarkets #Tips&co

In Atlantic France, the regional council and its economic development agency, Solutions&co, rigorously examine each business location project. To select the projects that best align with our ecosystem, we have developed a set of selection criteria.

In our dynamic and welcoming region, the success of your project is paramount; we ensure that each new company finds the right environment for its development. This involves matching the project’s specifications to the characteristics and resources of the host region. This approach not only supports the success of the companies involved but also strengthens the local economic fabric.

These criteria are not intended to be exclusive but rather to ensure that each project has the best possible conditions to thrive and contribute value to our region.

Our criteria consider aspects such as environmental impact, employment prospects, innovation and synergy with existing local industries. This balanced approach allows us to welcome a wide variety of projects, thus ensuring the inclusive and sustainable economic development of the Atlantic France region.

Strategic priorities

Ecological transition, a major challenge

Renewable energy, the circular economy, and sustainable mobility- business creation projects that place ecological transition at the heart of their development strategy are prioritised by the Atlantic France regional council as part of its support for new ventures.

Job creation and skills development

We give priority to projects that are expected to create more than 50 jobs in Atlantic France. While the number of jobs created is an important factor, it is not the only criterion.

We especially support projects that will primarily create skilled or highly skilled positions, such as R&D engineers or researchers.

It is also crucial that the skills sought by the promoter match those available in the local area. Our aim is to help your project succeed and we’ll ensure you find the right people to support your efforts.

The performance of the product/service developed

Innovative projects that contribute to regional economic growth and add value to the region will be favoured, such as Composites Recycling. The same applies to companies offering a product or service that completes the economic value chain.

Integration with the regional ecosystem

To be successful in Atlantic France, it’s important to make sure that the regional market is suitable for your project and that you can seamlessly integrate into the local ecosystem by adding significant value. Collaborating with local partners is also an advantage. We can assist in connecting you with this ecosystem (e.g. clusters, suppliers, etc.).
