The Data Health Factory is a support program created by the innovation hub Atlanpole with 24 partners. Its objective is to accompany businesses from Atlantic France innovating in the field of digital health for 6 months. Six projects are currently being incubated.
Atlantic France is a land of innovation in digital and healthcare. With the financial support of the regional council and other local authorities, Atlanpole launched a new incubation programme targeting projects in digital health: the Data Health Factory.
The first call for projects was launched in September, addressing 4 areas: eHealth, artificial intelligence, internet of things and medical devices. In order to be selected, applicants needed to fulfill these requirements:
- Project upstream of business creation, young company (less than 2 years old) or development of a project within an existing SME
- Service innovation and / or technological innovation in the targeted fields
- Establishment of activity in Loire-Atlantique or Vendée
Qualitative 6 month long support to boost innovative projects
Over 6 months, the Data Health Factory offers tailor-made support which consists of:
- 10 collective coaching workshops
- Individual coaching
- Access to high-level expertise and key data thanks to the partners
- Networking events
- Site visits
Atlanpole also relies on 24 different partners to offer extra services and resources: solution providers such as Microsoft and Orange, data suppliers (the Nantes university hospital, the health mutual Harmonie Mutuelle) and external experts such as Doctolib and Sigma.
Six innovative projects entered the Data Health Factory in November and are currently being accompanied: in vitro diagnostic kits to predict the fate of transplant patients or with autoimmune pathologies, a medical analysis dashboard, an AI-powered app for women with endometriosis, technology for detecting epileptic seizures, etc.
