The CEA Tech center in Atlantic France has been based within the Technocampus Océan in Bouguenais, near Nantes, since 2016. The public research lab dedicated to industry will soon have its own building and construction has just started.
What is CEA Tech?
The challenge for the Technological Research Department of the French Alternative and Atomic Energies Agency (CEA Tech) is to produce and disseminate CEA technologies for the benefit of industry by providing a “bridge” between the scientific world and the economic world.
CEA Tech Atlantic France’s mission is to:
- Strengthen the competitiveness of local businesses and in particular SMEs and mid-cap companies by working with them to build innovative solutions based on all CEA technologies,
- provide additional local expertise for the marinisation of energy systems (MRE, carbon-free maritime transport), the durability of materials in harsh environments, interactive robotics and digital technology.
CEA Tech Atlantic France has 40 employees and has unique and distinct equipment financed by the Atlantic France region.
